Posting Title: CTVS Industry: Medical Salary: ₹4.5LPM to 5LPM Work Experience: 3+ years Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon (CTVS) to deliver advanced surgical care in a high-volume tertiary setting. The ideal candidate will lead complex open-heart and vascular procedures, including CABG, valve surgery, aortic repairs, congenital corrections, and thoracic interventions, while contributing to pre- and post-operative management, critical care support (ECMO/CPB), and multidisciplinary collaboration.

This role offers a dynamic platform to drive surgical innovation, enhance patient outcomes, and advance quality improvement in a state-of-the-art clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced cardiac and vascular surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic aneurysm management, congenital heart surgery, and thoracic operations. Lead pre-operative planning, intra-operative decision-making, and post-operative care in coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Manage patients requiring ECMO and CPB support during high-complexity surgeries.

Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety checklists, and infection control standards. Provide surgical consultations and develop individualized treatment plans for complex cases. Mentor junior surgeons, participate in training programs, and contribute to quality improvement and research initiatives. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures, outcomes, and follow-up care.

Requirements

MBBS with postgraduate qualification in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (DNB/MS/MCh) with specialization in CTVS. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a tertiary care or high-volume cardiac surgery center. Proven expertise in CABG, valve surgery, aortic surgery, congenital heart surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular bypass, ECMO, and CPB.

Strong knowledge of surgical anatomy, advanced techniques, and perioperative critical care. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills under pressure. Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent). Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with on-call responsibilities.
