Service - Warranty Tech

Job Details: Salary Range: Undisclosed, Position Summary Houk is looking for a dependable and motivated Warranty-tech to assist our specialty crews with residential HVAC tasks. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the HVAC industry and develop the skills necessary to become a qualified HVAC technician.

The warranty tech Helper will work alongside experienced lead to assist with equipment installation, ductwork, refrigerant piping, electrical connections, condensate systems, and general job-site activities while maintaining Houk's standards for quality, safety, cleanliness, and professionalism.

Qualifications

Previous HVAC, construction, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical experience is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn the HVAC trade and develop technical skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team. Ability to follow directions and work under the supervision of an experienced installer.

Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools. Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, garages, and other areas associated with residential construction. Ability to lift and carry HVAC equipment and materials. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be willing to work in hot and cold weather conditions.

Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
