School Social Worker

Elementary/Middle School Level JOB GOAL : To help students resolve such personal, emotional, and social problems as they interfere with their adjustment to school and their capacity to enjoy the fullest benefits of the education offered them.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid New Jersey School Social Worker Certificate Advanced degree in education. Prefer, three (3) years of experience as a social worker. Demonstrated competence to use a computer as a tool for management. Ability to serve as an advocate for students' needs. Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Required criminal background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
