Responsibilities

• Assist the VP of Accounting in the management of all accounting operations including A/P, GL, Commissions and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinates monthly or annual closing workflow with applicable departments adhering to required deadlines
• Assists in preparation and distribution of financial statements and various regulatory and bank compliance reporting.
• Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Supervises and participates in continuous improvement efforts
• Establishes and maintains documented accounting policies and procedures.
• Lead accounting integration efforts for future potential acquisitions including accounting system migration and standardization of policies and procedures
• Oversee the training and development of finance staff and delegate duties and authority to meet departmental and organizational goals. Key Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree related to Accounting
• CPA required
• Minimum of 6 + years of accounting experience in a SaaS Company or 4+ years in public accounting
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with process optimization and drive for continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with acquisitions and integrations including accounting for acquisitions and purchase price accounting is preferred
• Excellent leadership and team building skills
