OVERVIEW

AND PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE As a Bartender at Bahrain Surf Park, you will craft and serve a vibrant array of refreshing beverages, signature cocktails, mocktails, fresh juices, and specialty coffees for our guests. You will deliver fast, friendly, and engaging service at the bar counter, maintain stock levels, keep bar stations spotless, and embody the welcoming Aloha Spirit.

WHAT YOU DO: Role Responsibilities: General Requirements Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, hygiene protocols, and departmental SOPs at all times. Maintain a good working knowledge of food and beverage offerings, BSP promotions, and current operational initiatives. Support team objectives and contribute positively to the working environment.

Participate actively in daily briefings, training sessions, and development programs. Follow departmental opening and closing checklists to ensure operational readiness and compliance. Create a welcoming, energetic, and engaging bar atmosphere. Work collaboratively with barbacks, fellow bartenders, and front-of-house colleagues.

Beverage Preparation & Service Drink Crafting: Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, mocktails, juices, and coffees according to standardized BSP recipe guidelines. Bar Counter Service: Welcome guests at the bar counter, take drink and food orders, offer beverage recommendations, and deliver attentive service.

Garnish & Presentation: Ensure every drink is garnished perfectly and served in the correct, polished glassware. Provide personalized beverage recommendations and appropriate food and beverage pairings. Contribute to a memorable guest experience through excellent product knowledge and service delivery. POS & Payment Handling POS Entry: Enter all beverage orders into the POS system before preparation.

Payment Processing: Handle cash, credit card, and digital transactions accurately, providing itemized receipts. Bar Prep & Stock Maintenance Pre-Shift Bar Prep: Slice fresh fruit garnishes, prepare house syrups, fill ice wells, and restock speed rails before service opening. Stock Requisitioning: Monitor daily stock levels of beverages, mixers, ice, and disposables, submitting restock requests to the Bar.

Back or Head Bartender. Bar Cleanliness & Hygiene Station Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, sanitized bar counter, pour mats, blender stations, and draft taps throughout the shift. Glassware Hygiene: Wash, sanitize, and polish glassware using bar glass washers in compliance with hygiene standards. Required Qualification ü High School Diploma or equivalent; Bartending / Mixology certification is a plus.

ü Food Handler / Food Safety certification (Required). ü Fluent English speaker; Arabic is an advantage. Required Experience ü Minimum 1 to 2 years of bartending experience in a busy bar, beach club, resort, or high-volume restaurant. ü Experience with cocktail preparation, coffee barista operations, and POS bar terminals.

Required Professional Skills and Attributes ü Solid knowledge of drink recipes, free-pour techniques, and beverage presentation. ü Speed, accuracy, and multitasking in high-volume environments. ü Basic computer literacy and POS operating skills. ü Friendly guest interaction and communication skills. Required Personal Qualities ü Outgoing, warm, and engaging personality with Aloha Spirit.

ü Punctual, energetic, and neatly groomed. ü Strong team player who supports barbacks and floor waiters. ü Flexibility to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS) ü Individual Bar CSAT: Maintain guest satisfaction scores of 90% or above. ü Preparation SLA: Maintain average drink ticket completion time under 3 minutes.

ü Recipe Adherence: 100% compliance with standard beverage recipes and pour measures. ü Zero Till Discrepancies: Achieve balanced cash/card POS reports at shift end.
