What You’ll Do As a CNA at Sunrise, you will provide direct care and assistance to residents while promoting their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence.

Responsibilities include

Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and toileting. Helping residents with meals, hydration, and other daily living needs. Assisting with transfers, walking, repositioning, and other mobility needs according to each resident’s care plan. Responding to call lights and resident requests in a timely manner.

Observing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team. Documenting care provided and maintaining accurate resident records. Following resident care plans, infection control practices, safety procedures, and resident rights policies. Working cooperatively with nurses, fellow CNAs, residents, families, and other team members.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to caring for seniors. Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The ability to communicate clearly, follow instructions, and recognize and report resident concerns. The ability to perform the physical responsibilities of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

A current CNA certification, or a willingness and ability to complete the required nurse aide training and certification process. Schedule Requirements Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Willingness to ensure appropriate resident care coverage at the end of a shift in accordance with facility procedures.
