Technical Programme Manager

Take technical responsibility for all projects within the programme area and identify new technologies, innovation opportunities and technical development paths for future solutions Guide and support system engineers and project managers in complex technical matters and ensure an effective and appropriate deployment of engineering resources Identify technical risks and issues, develop and implement pragmatic solutions and monitor adherence to schedules and budgets throughout the project lifecycle Lead smaller projects or technical studies and coordinate knowledge sharing and knowledge transfer among system engineers within and across programmes while acting as a technical mentor and trainer Ensure a consistent and continuously improving engineering workflow across the programme and contribute to the strategic development of the programme including identifying new business opportunities and enhancing existing products and solutions Support bid preparation and proposal leadership including the definition of technical statements of work with customers and represent the programme during customer meetings, workshops, conferences and industry events
