Fireman

Fireman location: San Francisco, CA Job Summary A Fireman is responsible for responding to emergency situations, including fires, accidents, and other incidents that require immediate attention. The Fireman will work as part of a team to extinguish fires, rescue people and animals, and provide first aid to those in need.

The Fireman will also be responsible for driving fire trucks and operating fire equipment.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergency situations, including fires, accidents, and other incidents Extinguish fires using appropriate equipment and techniques Rescue people and animals from dangerous situations Provide first aid to those in need Drive fire trucks to emergency locations Operate fire equipment, including hoses, ladders, and pumps Maintain fire equipment and vehicles Participate in training exercises and drills Follow safety procedures and protocols Communicate effectively with team members and other emergency personnel Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience driving large vehicles, such as fire trucks Knowledge of first aid techniques and procedures Ability to operate fire equipment, including hoses, ladders, and pumps Physical fitness and strength to perform job duties Ability to work in high-stress and dangerous situations Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred Skills Experience working as a Fireman or in a related field Certification in first aid and CPR Experience operating fire equipment, such as pumps and hoses Knowledge of local fire codes and regulations Working Conditions The Fireman will work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.

The job may require working in extreme temperatures, high elevations, and other hazardous conditions. The Fireman may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The job may also require being on-call and responding to emergency situations at any time.
