REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: Receive, maintain, and disseminate accurate student test records and district summaries. E [1]

• Maintain files. E Prepare letters, statements, and reports for duplication. E Prepare, set up, and type detailed statistical tables. E Operate duplicating and other office equipment. E Type using a word processor, proofread documents and reports. E Help maintain calendar. E Receive and sort mail. E Write letters, memos from rough draft or oral instruction. E Maintain office procedures in accordance with district office timelines. E Prepare materials for transmittal to data processing. E Contact district personnel and parents regarding testing programs. E Initiate and maintain positive contact with parents. E Be responsive to parent concerns. E Work cooperatively with district/site staff. E Show good judgment and initiative in dealing with routine office matters. E
• Respond to/refer non-routine matters appropriately. E Perform related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Graduation from high school or equivalent, including advance courses in typing, computer and office pratice Some experience in general office work KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: KNOWLEDGE OF: Modern office methods, practices, and procedures including computer systems. Correct punctuation, spelling and grammar. ABILITIY to: Transcribe from a notes or a recording device.

Type accurately, using a word processor at a rate of not less than 50 words per minute. Give out information over the counter and by telephone. Work cooperatively with others. Work under pressure. Maintain control over a wide variety of tasks. Work independently without specific instructions. Handle confidential material with discretion.
