Travel Medical Assistant

  • Statewide Bring your MA skills directly to patients at home. We’re hiring a Washington-based Medical Assistant to support preventive care through scheduled in-home visits while traveling throughout the state. Quick Details Location: Clark County, WA Pay: $31/hour Type: W-2 regular full-time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Travel: Throughout Washington, with occasional nearby-state travel based on coverage needs Work Setting: Field-based, in-home member visits What You’ll Do Complete scheduled in-home member visits Support Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and other preventive-care activities Take vitals, complete screenings, and perform approved point-of-care testing such as A1Cs and UAs Support Well-Child Visits when assigned Document visits accurately in the EMR/EHR Follow clinical, safety, HIPAA, and infection-control procedures Travel Expectations & Support Home visits will start in Clark County, WA You will travel throughout Washington based on business and patient coverage needs Occasional nearby-state travel may be required based on coverage needs You should expect extended and overnight assignments when locations are too far for same-day travel Schedules are typically provided about two weeks ahead Mileage is reimbursed at $0.725 per mile between eligible patient visits Required travel time is paid Eligible extended travel expenses are covered, including transportation, rental car when needed, hotel, and meals What You’ll Need At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential Medical Assistant certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification Hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, current registration, and active auto insurance Comfort working independently in patients’ homes Ability to meet vaccination and TB/PPD onboarding requirements Ability to travel throughout Washington, complete overnight assignments, and occasionally travel to nearby states Nice to Have Medicare Annual Wellness Visit or preventive-care experience Home-visit, field-based, mobile-care, or community health experience Experience with A1Cs, UAs, specimen collection, or similar point-of-care testing Well-Child Visit experience Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) PTO and paid holidays $0.725/mile reimbursement for eligible patient-to-patient travel Paid required travel time Covered eligible travel expenses for extended assignments At Urrly, fairness matters.
