Job Summary

The Certified Opthalmic Technician for the Department of Opthalmology will perform basic technical duties, screen patients, testing, and other duties as necessary to assist Provider. They will maintains clinical areas and additional duties to be assigned by Supervisor; Instill eye drops in the eyes of patients.

Qualifications

High School Diploma Three (3) years relevant experience Must be certified in either: Certified Ophthalmic Assistant , (C.O.A), Certified Ophthalmic Technician (C.O.T), Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technician, (C.O.M.T) or Certified Retinal Angiographer (C.R.A).
