JOINER We’re gearing up for the busy season and looking for multiple Joiners for residential and commercial projects starting in the coming weeks. On Offer: Days/Time of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00 pm
- Start and finish time may vary Pay: $28 - $40 per hour, depending on your skill set and assignment Permanent or temp to perm opportunity depending on candidate Up to $1,200 sign-up bonuses for NZ-based applicants Skills Required: At least two years of relevant Joinery experience or NZQF Level 4 qualification in Joinery or equivalent overseas qualification Proficiency in using Joinery hand tools and power tools (Preferably own basic tools) Ability to pass a drug test and criminal record check Must have good communication skills Must be physically fit and own transportation Right to work in New Zealand (Work visa holders considered) Tasks Include: Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders Measure, mark, cut, shape, and machine timber and timber-based materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery Manufacture, assemble, and repair timber joinery products Fit and install hardware such as hinges, locks, handles, drawer runners, glazing components, and other fittings Sand, finish, and prepare joinery products for painting, staining, polishing, or final installation Install manufactured joinery products on-site where required, ensuring accurate fit and finish NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
