Parts Shipping & Receiving/Safety Sensitive

Nissan of Olathe is hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in the Parts Department. Duties include but not limited too: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk receives incoming materials, products, and supplies and enters data in our business system. They are also responsible for preparing items for shipment , restocking shelves, and keeping a neat and orderly parts storage area.

Responsibilities

Checks in all stock orders upon receipt. Notifies the parts manager of any parts that are received damaged or missing from any type of order. Keeps all parts shelves stocked using the space available in an efficient manner. Receipts in all special-order parts. Maintains a special-order file and ensures that all customers are notified of the receipt of their parts.

Notifies the appropriate service manager when the special-order parts that were ordered for their team have been received. Notifies the parts manager of special order parts that were ordered by the retail or wholesale counter. Maintains a backorder file. Assists in picking up emergency orders and making deliveries. If an outside company is being used for the delivery, ensure that all the shipping requirements of that company have been met.
