PSR Specialist

Location: Marble Hill, MO - Bollinger County

Full Time: Non - Exempt

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Some evenings may be required as necessary dependent upon agency and client need.

Pay Range

$20.00 - $22.40 per hour

Note: Pay will vary dependent upon prior experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from accredited university; or
• Any four-year combination of higher education and qualifying experience; or
• Four years of qualifying experience.
• Valid Drivers License - Must hold or obtain by start date, MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL Residents) and current auto insurance.
• Travel in own vehicle is required.

Note: Qualifying experience must include delivery of service to individuals with mental illness, substance abuse disorders, or developmental disabilities.

Job Summary: Responsible for the delivery of rehabilitative services including community living skills training, recreation/socialization services, pre-vocational skills development, client and family supportive and educational assistance.

Job Duties:

1. Participate in initial screening to evaluate appropriateness of clients referred for PSR services.
2. Participate in development of client's individual treatment plan.
3. Provide transportation to and from community facilities and resources.
4. Maintain positive attitude toward agency and clientele.
5. Provide daily living skills training including assistance in nutrition, financial and home management, accessing community resources, recreation, pre-vocational services, development of support systems, diagnosis and medication management, etc.
6. Provide crisis intervention services for clients enrolled in PSR services as needed.
7. Monitor and assist client with program compliance.
8. Responsible for transporting clients in agency and/or personal vehicle as deemed necessary and appropriate to meet program requirements.
9. Document according to clinical policies and procedure, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.
