Building Service Worker

Position Summary

This position is located at the UIC Health Sciences campus

• Rockford. The Building Service Worker performs all necessary custodial work to keep floors, walls, windows, furniture, and bathrooms in a clean, sanitary condition and to maintain housekeeping standards. Duties Responsibilities: Clean and maintain all floor surfaces consisting of carpet and various hard surface floors. Clean and maintain toilet rooms. Pick up trash including hazardous materials. Clean interior finishes and building components, i.e., walls, windows, blinds, light fixtures, etc. Clean exterior entryways. Clean furniture. Provide services to facility users by moving furniture and setting up for meetings and special events. Perform other related duties as assigned.
