Description Job Overview The Lead Early Education Teacher at Cross Schools plays a critical role in shaping young children and will be passionate about early childhood education, committed to fostering a nurturing learning environment, and skilled in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum in a Christian atmosphere.
This role requires strong leadership, effective communication with parents, and adherence to state licensing regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of students. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning in various subjects including math, literacy, and physical education.
Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies to create a respectful and supportive learning environment. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements. Foster a love for learning through creative activities, play-based learning, and hands-on experiences.
Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes health and well-being.
Requirements
Qualifications Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to manage classroom behavior positively and constructively.
