Senior Corporate Compliance Specialist

Supports Medical Mutual’s privacy program. Utilizes established internal controls, auditing, and monitoring mechanisms to detect potential noncompliance. Conducts investigations into reported and detected impermissible disclosures, documenting findings, conducting risk assessments, preparing breach notifications, and assists in implementing remediation plans.

Serves as a subject matter expert on the application of applicable privacy laws, regulations, industry standards, and contractual obligations. Collaborates with business partners to promote adherence to compliance policies and procedures. Assists in the preparation of reporting, documentation, and readiness activities for state and federal agencies and internal governance committees.
