About the Role

At Tracsis, we're using data, technology and innovation to solve complex challenges across critical infrastructure and transportation markets. We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team and play a key role in helping leaders make informed, value-driven decisions.

This is an exciting opportunity to partner with senior stakeholders across the business, providing financial insight that supports growth, investment decisions and operational performance. You'll work closely with commercial, technology and functional teams, helping translate complex business activity into clear financial outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing As a Finance Business Partner, you'll: Partner with senior leaders across Commercial, Technology and wider business functions to support decision-making and performance improvement.

Own financial insight and reporting across key products, services and business activities, identifying risks, opportunities and areas for growth. Support pricing decisions, bids, tenders, renewals and commercial investments through robust analysis and scenario modelling. Develop business cases for strategic initiatives, including technology investment, AI, product development and operational improvements.

Provide forecasting, budgeting and long-term planning support, ensuring alignment between operational plans and financial performance. Deliver meaningful analysis on revenue, profitability, margins and key commercial drivers. Support investment appraisal activities, including ROI, NPV and payback assessments. Collaborate with finance and operational teams to improve reporting, dashboards, forecasting processes and overall performance visibility.

Contribute to the successful integration of acquisitions and continuous improvement of commercial finance activities.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in people who can bring strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking and the confidence to build relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders. Essential Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent). Significant experience in a commercial finance, finance business partnering or related role.

Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis. Experience providing financial insight and challenge to senior stakeholders. Strong commercial modelling and investment appraisal skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.

Experience working collaboratively across multiple teams and functions. Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability. Desirable Experience within software, SaaS, technology or product-led environments. Knowledge of IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles. Understanding of SaaS metrics and product profitability measures.

Experience supporting bids, tenders or pricing activities. Knowledge of cloud cost management, Fin. Ops or technology investment evaluation. Experience using Power BI or similar data visualisation tools. Familiarity with AI, automation or advanced analytics within finance. Experience working within a growing international or listed business.
