Sustainability Coordinator

SUSTAINABILITY COORDINATOR One special assignment contract position for up to 20 hours per week Responsibilities: To work collaboratively with administration, faculty, staff, and students to develop, coordinate, and promote effective sustainability initiatives to educate and empower students to learn and share about all areas of sustainability beginning with individual impacts.

Responsibilities include

educating students about sustainability and coordinating programming and activities related to reducing individual footprint on the environment through water conservation, recycling, safe transit to school, organizing and overseeing school composting/recycling programs, energy usage, aligned to green ribbon schools programs, advising related student organizations, and conducting action research about sustainability, and annual reporting to schools.

Requirements
