Unit Clerk/Patient Care Assistant - Emergency Department

Our mission is to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to the people who depend on us. We’re currently seeking a dedicated Unit Clerk/ Patient Care Assistant (UC/PCA) to join our Emergency Department at our Ontario location .

Position Overview

Meets the communication needs of the patient, family and staff. Prepares and compiles records in the facility. Initiates directions from physician and nursing staff. Provides basic nursing care to Emergency Department patients. Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and facility policies and procedures and standards.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent. Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire date. Preferred: STNA Certification or Paramedic or EMS Certification. Why Join the Avita Health System Team?
