We're looking for a detail-oriented, motivated, and collaborative Staff Accountant to join our corporate team in Logan, Utah! In this role, you'll play an important part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly, with a primary focus on multi-state payroll processing and marketing agreement revenue management . You'll work closely with our Finance and HR teams to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, revenue is calculated and invoiced correctly, and our financial processes continue to grow alongside our business. Our employees are at the heart of everything we do, and making sure they're paid accurately and on time is a responsibility we take seriously! Manage and process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for multiple companies and branches. Partner closely with HR to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll requirements.

Review and reconcile timecards, hourly wages, production-based compensation, salaries, commissions, bonuses, and payroll deductions. Maintain accurate payroll records, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely manner. Support payroll setup and configuration for new employees, branches, and companies as our organization continues to grow.

Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and continuous process improvements. Collaborate with HR and Finance to maintain accurate employee compensation information and ensure consistency across payroll systems. Marketing Agreement Revenue – Making Every Dollar Count! Behind every successful business is a team that understands where its revenue comes from and makes sure it's accounted for correctly.

Calculate, prepare, and manage recurring invoices associated with our company's marketing agreements. Track and reconcile marketing agreement revenue across multiple companies and business relationships. Calculate revenue and invoicing related to door-to-door sales and marketing services performed on behalf of our branches.

Review supporting financial data to ensure accurate calculations, allocations, and invoicing. Coordinate with Finance and other departments to identify and resolve discrepancies. Maintain organized records and supporting documentation for revenue transactions. Assist with commission calculations and payments associated with marketing agreement services.

Identify opportunities to streamline revenue tracking, reporting, and reconciliation processes. Accounting Operations – Helping Everything Balance! While payroll and marketing agreement revenue will be your primary focus, you'll also contribute to the overall success of our Accounting team. Assist with accounts payable, including invoice processing, expense verification, and vendor payments.

Support accurate allocation of shared expenses across multiple business entities. Participate in month-end close activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and financial statement preparation. Collaborate with accounting team members to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency. Help develop and maintain accounting procedures that support continued organizational growth.

Assist with additional accounting projects and responsibilities as business needs evolve. What Makes You a Great Fit?
