Food Technology Specialist

Food Production Machine & Plant Operator Employment Type: Permanent Industry: Manufacturing Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor machinery and production equipment used in food manufacturing. Set up, adjust, operate, and change over production machines. Monitor production processes and identify and resolve basic machine or process faults.

Work on process, filling, and packaging production lines as required. Perform and support quality checks during production. Record and maintain production-related data and documentation. Follow food hygiene, quality, and food-safety standards, including HACCP requirements. Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and assigned work areas.

Ensure safe, efficient, reliable, and quality-focused production operations.

Requirements

Completed vocational training in one of the following: Machine and Plant Operator with specialisation in Food Production Food Technician / Food Technology Specialist Comparable technical or vocational qualification Minimum 3 years of proven professional experience directly in food production – mandatory. Hands-on experience operating production machinery and automated equipment.

Experience with food processing, filling, or packaging lines is preferred. Good understanding of food hygiene and quality standards. Knowledge of HACCP is an advantage. Reliable, responsible, and quality-oriented approach to work.
