Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary

Preparation of plan documents and assistance with plan provision questions from internal staff.

Responsibilities

Review of new client plan documentation and draft appropriate documents for conversion. Analyze prospective clients’ plan documents, including 401(k), profit sharing, and 403(b) for potential takeover. Draft plan amendments and resolutions for all products. Draft and review summary plan descriptions (SPD) and summary of material modifications (SMM) as plans are amended.

Draft required IRS/DOL annual plan notices. Research client requests to determine whether their plans comply with applicable government regulations and if Pentegra can and will administer such requests. Act as a liaison for Internal Sales, Conversions and Operations to assist with document concerns. Perform any additional duties, as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retirement services industry Minimum of 2 years’ experience with drafting plan documents, preferred Experience in Retirement Plan Administration is a plus but not required Experience in SalesForce is a plus but not required Proficient in Relius/FIS Documents System preferred Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Review and interpretation of plan provisions Able to communicate clearly and professionally to clients Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
