They are expanding their team, and we are offering a challenging position of a: Procurement Engineer Subotica Duties and responsibilities: Leading cross-functional projects focused on product development and cost optimization throughout the entire supply chain Analyzing products, components, and manufacturing processes, including conducting value analyses, cost engineering, and target cost calculations Providing technical expertise for the development and evaluation of optimization concepts, technical alternatives, materials, and cost drivers to achieve sustainable cost reductions Planning, facilitating, and conducting workshops with internal stakeholders and suppliers Collaborating closely with various functional departments in international projects, including technical support during quotation, concept development, sourcing, and implementation phases Participating in design reviews, technical supplier discussions, and supplier evaluations Expectations: A technical qualification or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field Expertise in generator technology is an advantage Previous experience in procurement engineering, cost engineering, value engineering, or manufacturing engineering Strong analytical and structured working approach with the ability to evaluate technical and commercial alternatives Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product cost structures, and engineering fundamentals Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills in an international environment Excellent written and spoken English, willingness to travel, and enthusiasm for working in an intercultural environment Advanced computer literacy, SAP experience is an advantage Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Experience in working with other cultures will be a plus Proactive, outgoing personality What Flender offers: A dynamic and modern working environment Competitive salary Private health insurance Annual tickets for sports activities Flexible working hours *Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
