Physician - General Orthopedic Surgeon - Full Time Academic

• Monroe and Health Sciences Center – Shreveport are seeking a Fellowship
• Trained Orthopedic Surgeon in the Department of Orthopedics. Must be eligible for active Louisiana licensure and BC/BE. This position would be for an Assistant or Associate Professor. Highlights of the Position: Provide needed services in a rural region in an academic setting The surgeon would be part of the larger Ochsner LSU Health System North Louisiana including 17 faculty (Spine, Trauma, Sports Medicine, Hand) Excellent compensation, initial supplement, relocation High existing volumes Collegial and multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses to collaborate on a customized plan of care for each patient. Physician leadership and input at all levels of administration. This position: Combines teaching and patient care Emphasizes teaching and provides vitally important leadership and guidance to medical students and residents.
