Certified School Nurse East Petersburg Elementary School & Farmdale Elementary School 2026-2027 School Year Job Summary: The Certified School Nurse plans, implements, and evaluates the mandated School Health Services as defined by the Pennsylvania School Code and that aligns with the standards and practice under the Nurse Practice Act and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

The nurse initiates health concern treatment, follow-up, counseling, and referrals to ensure comprehensive student health care. The certificated school nurse initiates student and staff health education, wellness, and safety programs that promote healthy lifestyles and the utilization of community resources. The School Nurse Standards include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, implementation, planning and evaluation.

Position Information: Full-time, with benefits 7.5 hours per day Qualifications: PA Certification as School Nurse K-12 CPR, AED & First Aid Certification required RN license/ BSN Required Documents: Current PA Criminal History background check Current Federal Criminal background check Current Child Abuse background check Interested candidates should submit an application online.
