• Nespelem, WA, Salary Range: $20.34 - $20.70Hourly, CLOSING DATE: Open Until Filled, with weekly reviews POSITION: CTHCA Cook SALARY: $20.34 per DOE REPORTS TO: CTCC Food Services Manager LOCATION: Nespelem, WA. Basic Functions: Non-Exempt
• The Cook Senior is responsible for the preparation of all meals and snacks, assuring that all meals are prepared conforming to the menu and recipes. All meals must be prepared in a timely manner and presented in an appealing manner.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: High school diploma or GED Knowledge of Dietary requirements in a Long-Term Care setting preferred. Knowledge of long-term care setting Ability to organize work duties in order to complete all tasks as assigned within the shift. Ability to work independently. Ability to successfully clear a Criminal History Background Inquiry that indicates no felony or conviction/s on the DSHS Secretary’s List.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 2 feet and be able to push, pull, move; and/or carry said weight a minimum of 15 feet. Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.

TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED. If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances.
