Paraprofessional Instructional Aide for the Able Classroom for Grades 5-6

PARAPROFESSIONAL, INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE FOR THE ABLE CLASSROOM AT THE ACADEMIC CENTER Seven (7) hours per day, student work days plus three professional development days and eleven paid holidays, with additional hours/days as may be assigned.

Compensation

will be per the Board approved salary schedule ($16.16 - $17.26 per hour). Employment is contingent upon a BCI & FBI fingerprinting background check. (cost is $55.00) Current opening is at the Academic Center in the Grades 5 & 6 ABLE Classroom. Position includes toileting and an additional $0.50 per hour, earned sick leave, optional health insurance, board paid life insurance and personal leave.

A paraprofessional license (Educational Aide Permit) with an ESEA Qualified endorsement through the Ohio Department of Education is required. Employment is contingent upon the results of a Criminal Background Check and the ability to obtain a paraprofessional license with the required ESEA qualified endorsement with assistance of the District (cost is $25.
