The Freelance Firm - Contract-based, Remote Florida Probate and Guardianship Paralegal Opportunity – 6–10 Hours per Week – $30 per Hour

Our client Florida Law Firm has an opportunity for a qualified, experienced, and reliable Florida Probate and Guardianship Paralegal to provide ongoing probate administration, case management, and litigation support.

This is a contract-based opportunity expected to start at approximately 6–10 hours per week . Paralegal Responsibilities: Open and manage new probate administration files from start to finish Prepare probate petitions, notices, and other court documents Identify and inventory estate assets Send required notices and obtain proof of service Calendar deadlines and monitor case progress Prepare final accountings for estates and guardianships Prepare petitions for court approval of expenses Assist with contested probate matters and litigation documents Schedule hearings and coordinate court filings Maintain and organize case files using Clio Independently manage assignments and follow up on outstanding matters Paralegal Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of law firm experience Strong Florida probate and guardianship administration experience Experience opening and managing probate cases independently Knowledge of Florida probate and guardianship procedures Experience preparing probate petitions, notices, and accountings Familiarity with contested probate matters and civil litigation forms Experience with Clio case management software Strong organizational and case management skills Excellent communication and attention to detail Highly responsive, reliable, and proactive Ability to take initiative and independently manage cases and deadlines Our Paralegal pay rate starts at $30 per hour .
