Sheetfed Press Assistant

Outlook Group is looking for a dependable and motivated Sheetfed Press Assistant to join our production team. This position will work alongside the Press Operator on our 40" Komori sheetfed press, helping with press setup, material preparation, quality checks, and other duties needed to keep production running safely and efficiently.

This position rotates weekly between 1st and 2nd shift: 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 AM–2:00 PM 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:00 AM Key Responsibilities: Assist the Press Operator with setup and operation of the 40" Komori sheetfed press Prepare paper, ink, plates, and other materials needed for production Load and unload materials and finished product Assist with press wash-ups, color changes, and job changeovers Monitor printed materials for quality and report any issues to the Press Operator Maintain an organized supply of materials at the press Keep the press and surrounding work area clean and organized Follow established safety procedures and production standards Help troubleshoot basic production issues as directed by the Press Operator Complete production documentation as required Work closely with other team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations Qualifications & Skills Previous printing, manufacturing, or machine operation experience is preferred Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn press operations Strong attention to detail and quality Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the Press Operator and production team Willingness and ability to work the weekly rotating 1st and 2nd shift schedule Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods and handling materials throughout the shift What We Offer 9 Paid Holidays PTO – start earning it day one Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program 401K + employer match If this sounds like the opportunity you’ve been looking for, apply today!
