Line Cook

We are a fast-paced kitchen dedicated to delivering high-quality, delicious menu items in a clean, high-energy environment. We’re looking for a dependable, skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team and help keep our kitchen running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

& Duties Station Prep & Setup: Set up and stock kitchen stations with all necessary supplies, prep work, and equipment before service. Food Preparation: Cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines in a timely and consistent manner. Order Execution: Read tickets accurately and execute food orders efficiently during high-volume peak hours.

Food Safety & Hygiene: Maintain strict adherence to health department codes, food safety regulations, temperature monitoring, and sanitation standards. Cleanliness & Maintenance: Clean and sanitize work areas, line equipment, tools, and utensils throughout and at the end of every shift. Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth ticket flow and exceptional guest experiences.

Inventory Control: Monitor product freshness, practice proper stock rotation (FIFO), and minimize food waste.

Qualifications

& Requirements Experience: 1+ years of line cook or kitchen experience preferred (bakery/restaurant environment is a plus). Skills: Strong knife skills, basic knowledge of cooking techniques (grilling, frying, baking, plating), and ability to multitask under pressure. Certifications: Current Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, work in a warm environment, and lift up to 50 lbs. Availability: Flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Mindset: Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
