Fetterman - Server

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible for the distribution of food items to customers in a banquet setting and to provide exceptional customer service to all RS3 guests and hosts. BASIC OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Always appear in proper uniform and look presentable when on the floor or at assigned area
• Prepare station prior to meal service. Includes but is not limited to equipment, tools, vessels, place settings, food
• Ensure implementation of safety standards, neatness and sanitation of work areas
• Ensure proper use of gloves, utensils, portion size of each item, temperature of hot and cold food and the attractive presentation of all food items
• Communicate in a timely manner with the kitchen staff regarding the amount of food on hand and its quality
• Replenish food or take dishes away from the buffet as needed
• Knowledge of items being served
• Return un-served food to the kitchen for proper storage
• Serve customers in a prompt and courteous manner
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations
• Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Requirements:
• Ability to understand written and oral direction, and communicate appropriately with others
• Ability to be effective and positive in a team environment Preferred:
• Experience in food service Other Requirements:
• Must be able to work in diverse environments.
• Must be able to work at a fast-pace and be able to maneuver quickly among different areas of the facility
• Must have the ability to stand and climb concrete steps for up to 8 hours in length.
• Quick sell-placed mobility is needed to avoid moving obstacles.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
• Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
