General Job Description The Supply Planner is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain process, optimizing the flow of materials, and ensuring the timely availability of materials in the correct quantities and at the right cost. This role involves creating supply plans, managing inventory levels, and optimizing capacity utilization for materials and assets within the European supply planning team’s scope, with a mid-term planning horizon and a cross-site focus. It requires close collaboration with material buyers, inbound and production planners, as well as the demand planning team to forecast material requirements, maintain optimal stock levels, and meet customer demands while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs. Additionally, the Supply Planner will also focus on improving network design and lead projects aimed at enhancing supply planning capabilities, ensuring continuous development and operational efficiency within the supply chain.
