Job description
MTSI is seeking to hire a Senior Dev. Sec. Ops Engineer with a strong background in secure cloud platform engineering, Kubernetes operations, and policy‑as‑code enforcement. This senior role supports mission‑critical defense programs and requires deep technical expertise, leadership ability, and hands-on experience in high-assurance environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate Azure Government (IL5) and Azure Secret (IL6) environments
- Architect secure Kubernetes platforms using FluxCD, GitLab CI/CD, and Git. Ops methodologies
- Build and maintain Terraform configurations for Azure, GitLab, Artifactory, and developer platforms
- Deploy and administer Coder Enterprise v2 for secure cloud-based development
- Develop hardened container images and Helm releases for regulated workloads
- Implement policy‑as‑code using OPA, Rego, Gatekeeper, and advanced validation pipelines
- Engineer air-gapped deployment workflows and secure artifact transfer mechanisms
- Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance, security, and platform reliability Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, Dev. Sec. Ops, or secure cloud/platform engineering
- Active U.S. Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a technical discipline
- 20+ years of relevant professional experience
