• PRN Location: Various Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our team on a PRN (pro re nata, as needed) basis. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional pharmaceutical care, ensure the safe and effective use of medications, and support our healthcare teams in delivering outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, and potential drug interactions. Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and storage. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and patient care.

Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and inventory. Stay current with pharmaceutical knowledge, new medications, and industry best practices. Adapt to various work locations and schedules as needed to meet staffing demands.

Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the appropriate state board(s). Experience working as a Pharmacist, preferably in multiple settings. Ability to work PRN with flexible availability across various locations. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and patient safety protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Proficient with pharmacy software and technology. Work Environment This position requires flexibility to work at different locations as needed. The role may involve standing for extended periods and handling various pharmacy-related tasks in a fast-paced environment.
