Associate Engineer – Tape Drive Mechatronics, Servo Systems & Robotics

Position Summary

Quantum is seeking an early-career engineer with a strong academic foundation in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, controls, robotics, applied physics, or a related discipline to join our tape storage engineering organization.

This role is designed for individuals with exceptional technical potential who are interested in applying advanced engineering principles to highly complex electromechanical systems.

The ideal candidate may be a recent M.S. or Ph.D. graduate, or an engineer with limited industry experience, who demonstrates strong analytical ability, intellectual curiosity, and interest in understanding complex systems from first principles.
