Paraprofessional

Description City Garden Montessori is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support our teaching staff in creating a nurturing and effective learning environment for our students. This role involves working closely with teachers to assist in classroom management and student engagement.

Responsibilities

Assist the lead teacher in daily classroom activities and instruction. Support students in individual or small group settings to reinforce learning concepts. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers. Help in preparing educational materials and organizing classroom resources. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students. Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in an educational setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff. Basic understanding of child development and educational practices. Patience and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment.
