QA Specialist

Primarily responsible for ensuring compliance of dressing plants with Quality and Food Safety requirements in accordance with SMFI, customer, government regulatory, and religious organization standards. Ensures the quality and safety of all products manufactured and developed within poultry and meats processing operations through the implementation and strict adherence to established standards and procedures covering laboratory practices, sampling, and analyses.

These are aligned with the Corporate Food Safety Program and minimum requirements of Codex Alimentarius, Meat Hygiene, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and other Quality Management and Food Safety Systems. Ensures that all technical product requirements are properly communicated, interpreted, and implemented across all plants in accordance with customer specifications and expectations.

Responsible for conducting compliance audits of retail outlets under the Poultry & Meats and Franchising Business to ensure continued adherence to quality, food safety, and regulatory standards. Graduate of BS Food Technology or any equivalent or allied courses, PFT preferred and be proficient in MS Office applications.
