Enterprise Security Services Corporation is hiring reliable Unarmed Security Officers to support client sites on Maryland's Eastern Shore, in and around Salisbury. With over 30 years of experience as a women- and minority-owned company, we take pride in officers who deliver consistent, professional coverage. Where you'll work This role covers client locations throughout the Salisbury area, including retail corridors, commercial properties, and similar sites.

Assignments are based on coverage needs, so the specific worksite may vary — we are seeking officers who can perform dependably across the area.

Responsibilities

Maintain a steady, visible presence that deters theft and unauthorized access Patrol assigned interior and exterior areas to identify and address concerns proactively Control access at entrances and monitor key points throughout the site Assist customers and staff in a courteous, professional manner Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures Report unusual activity observed during patrols or via surveillance Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports Requirements Possess or be able to obtain Maryland security guard certification through our licensed agency under MSP requirements Meet Maryland's minimum age and eligibility standards for security work Pass a criminal background check Have dependable transportation to assigned sites in the Salisbury area Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in appearance and conduct Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Prior security experience is an asset but not required Benefits Flexible, availability-based scheduling Reliable weekly pay in line with company pay cycles Access to open shifts at additional client sites for officers seeking additional hours Advancement opportunities as our client base grows Uniform & equipment Must be able to obtain a Class A black uniform; radios may be provided.
