Substitute Paraprofessional

A Substitute Paraprofessional , also known as a Substitute Teacher Assistant , plays a crucial role in educational settings. Here are the key duties and qualifications for this position: Duties and Responsibilities : Understanding the daily schedule : Substitute paraprofessionals familiarize themselves with the daily routine and tasks that need completion.

Individualized instruction : Providing extra assistance and instruction to individual students or small groups to reinforce lessons. Behavior intervention : When students exhibit problem behaviors, substitute paraprofessionals intervene and model good behavior for the entire class. Supervision during activities : They supervise students during outside recess, lunch in the cafeteria, and other activities.

Clerical tasks : Assisting with administrative duties, such as taking attendance and calculating grades. Supporting therapists : In school settings, they aid therapists who work with students. Data collection : Collecting data and compiling reports.

Qualifications
