CHEF DE PARTIE Liverpool Street, London | £36,000 per annum Create exceptional food in a prestigious corporate environment. Houston & Hawkes is seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at a prestigious international law firm in the Liverpool Street area. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who thrives in a busy, high-standard kitchen and is passionate about delivering consistently exceptional food.

Working within a large, established workplace catering operation, you will enjoy the variety of creating fresh, seasonal dishes for a vibrant retail offer alongside refined corporate hospitality. From a well-executed lunch service to beautifully presented hospitality menus, every plate should reflect your skill, care and attention to detail.

THE OPPORTUNITY You will take ownership of your section, preparing and cooking fresh dishes to a consistently high standard while supporting a smooth, efficient service. You will work closely with the Head Chef and wider brigade to deliver an appealing retail food offer and polished hospitality for meetings, working lunches and events.

A key part of the role is working confidently on the hot pass, ensuring dishes leave the kitchen on time, at the right temperature and with excellent presentation. You will maintain clear communication with colleagues during busy service periods, anticipate demand and uphold the highest standards of quality and consistency.

You will contribute ideas for seasonal menus and daily specials, support ordering and stock rotation, minimise food waste and maintain impeccable food safety, hygiene and allergen controls. You will also help guide junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and setting a positive example through your organisation and professionalism.

THE CHEF WE ARE LOOKING FOR You will already have strong experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality-led, high-volume kitchen, ideally within premium contract catering, a respected restaurant or a similarly demanding hospitality environment. You should be confident managing your section independently, comfortable with a busy hot pass and experienced in delivering both retail dining and high-quality hospitality.

Above all, we are looking for someone with genuine enthusiasm for food, sound technical skills, excellent attention to detail and a calm, collaborative approach.
