Location Description The Lawrence, Kansas facility is 236,000 square feet and home to about 200+ hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits®. Lawrence is a college town and the home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University with Kansas State University about 85 miles away.

The city is known for a thriving music and art scene and is also the home of the University of Kansas athletic teams.

Responsibilities

$24.45 per hour The Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule. This position will work: D Shift

• Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and every other Friday 6:00pm - 6:00am Shift premium: $1.50 per hour In the Material Handler role, you will: Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner to meet customer needs Maintain forklifts and other equipment to reduce/eliminate downtime Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety Qualifications The successful candidate (s) for this role will have the following qualifications: Possess a high school diploma or a GED Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Physical Job Demands to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation: Sitting frequently Standing frequently Walking frequently Climbing stairs occasionally Reaching forward frequently Manual dexterity constantly Material Handler Pay Rate: $24.45 per hour The Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule.
