Position Summary

Under limited supervision, is responsible for inspection, repairs, and preventative maintenance of Club-owned equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Carefully troubleshoots, coordinates, and monitors repairs and maintenance of company equipment in a detailed manner. Maintains records relative to vehicle repair, parts, supplies, and equipment inventory. Maintains compliance with DOT, OSHA, and federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidelines. Controls expenses Maintains a clean and safe repair and maintenance area.

As requested, performs emergency road service duties including, but not limited to jump-starts, tire changes, lockout/locksmith service, fuel delivery, extrication and/or winching, and towing service. Communicates information clearly and understandably to the Drivers through familiarization with Emergency Road Service policies and procedures to enhance member satisfaction.

Promotes AAA memberships, including safety programs, and benefits through knowledge of HMC programs. Maintains a flexible calendar for scheduling purposes. Maintains knowledge of all technical innovations and the latest repair methods. Communicates needs for parts and supplies in a timely and accurate manner. Responsible for inventory control of all parts, fluids, supplies, and equipment.
