Cancer Registrar

Under general supervision, the Cancer Registrar is responsible for the accurate collection, analysis, maintenance, and reporting of cancer registry data in accordance with established regulatory standards and reporting requirements. This position conducts case finding audits, data validation, and quality assurance reviews to ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of cancer registry records.
Additionally, the Cancer Registrar prepares statistical reports and analyzes cancer data to support clinical operations, organizational reporting, quality improvement initiatives, and informed decision-making by management and clinical staff. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. An Associates degree in Life Sciences or equivalent experience in medical setting preferred. A minimum of one to three years of experience as a cancer/tumor registrar required. Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) highly desired.
Compensation
