If that sounds like you, we want to talk What You'll Do Be the visible, trusted presence at some of Los Angeles' busiest parks, libraries, and public facilities Engage with the community by greeting patrons, answering questions, and helping people feel welcome De-escalate first.

Use communication and sound judgment to resolve conflicts calmly and safely Patrol and observe on foot and by vehicle, identifying risks before they become incidents Respond with confidence to emergencies, disturbances, and calls for assistance Partner with others, including facility staff, city personnel, and law enforcement Document clearly through accurate incident reports and daily activity logs What You Bring 5+ years of armed security experience Proven customer service experience in a public-facing role Demonstrated de-escalation and conflict-resolution skills Active California BSIS Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit Strong communication and report-writing skills Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Professional appearance and a calm, steady demeanor What Sets You Apart Military or law enforcement training Experience at parks, libraries, transit, or other high-traffic public sites Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages common in LA communities) CPR/First Aid or crisis intervention certification Ready to make LA's public spaces safer?
