Creative Production Associate, Design & Graphics Pali Mountain | Running Springs, CA Full-Time | Hourly | On-Site Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings/weekends for special projects and installs Reports to: Creative Director, Brand & Experience Pay: $26–$32/hour The Role Pali Mountain is building a new creative production team focused on bringing our brands to life in the real world.
We’re looking for a Creative Production Associate, Design & Graphics to help create the visual systems, graphics, signage, branded environments, and creative details that define our campuses and experiences. This is a highly visual and technically minded role for someone who enjoys both creative design and figuring out how that design translates into the real world.
You’ll work closely with the Creative Director to develop concepts into thoughtful, production-ready creative while collaborating across print, materials, fabrication, props, installations, events, and other real-world applications. The work is intentionally varied. One project may be a new signage system. The next could be graphics for an event, a themed environment, an activation, a dimensional photo moment, or something completely new.
As our internal production capabilities expand, so will the scale and range of environmental and large-format work this role touches. What You’ll Do Design signage, event graphics, branded materials, environmental graphics, and other visual assets from concept through production-ready files Design with the physical space in mind, including scale, sightlines, materials, durability, and how guests will actually experience the work Create mockups and visual presentations for environments, installations, events, and activations Prepare files and coordinate with printers, sign vendors, fabricators, and other production partners Research materials, finishes, print methods, and production solutions Support creative projects involving props, scenic elements, dimensional graphics, photo moments, and themed environments Conduct site walks to take measurements, understand spaces, and assess production or installation needs Participate in hands-on production, setup, and installation when appropriate Maintain brand consistency across signage, environmental graphics, and activation materials across Pali brands Collaborate with Creative Production, Marketing, Media, Operations, Maintenance, Programs, and other departments as needed Who We’re Looking For Has a sharp, developed aesthetic eye with strong instincts for typography, composition, color, and visual storytelling Thinks spatially and understands how a design will read at scale, from a distance, and within a real environment Understands how a design gets produced and installed, not just how it looks on screen Enjoys working across different creative disciplines rather than staying within one narrow category of design Is comfortable taking creative direction and developing an idea into a polished finished product Is curious, resourceful, organized, and willing to figure out unfamiliar materials or production challenges Works well with designers, production teams, vendors, fabricators, and operational departments Experience & Qualifications Relevant professional experience in graphic design, brand design, environmental/signage design, experiential design, creative production, or a related field Strong portfolio required, demonstrating strong visual design and relevant professional or project work Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and In.
Design Strong understanding of professional print production and file preparation Experience working with printers, vendors, fabricators, or production partners preferred Experience with large-format printing, signage, environmental graphics, fabrication, Sketch. Up, Figma, WordPress, prop building, or physical installations is a plus A college degree is not required.
Portfolio quality, technical ability, design judgment, and relevant professional experience are what matter most. Work Environment This is a fully on-site position based at our mountain campus in Running Springs, California. The role combines studio-based design work with regular time throughout the property for site walks, measurements, material reviews, production planning, installations, and events.
Projects span indoor and outdoor environments across active camp, education, retreat, event, and operational spaces. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for major installations, events, or project launches. Specialized construction, electrical, rigging, elevated, or technical installation work will be completed by appropriately trained staff or vendors.
