Job description

About Thorit Thorit is one of Europe's leading HubSpot Partners and a leading consulting and technology firm in the DACH region. We combine strategic consulting with hands-on implementation, from CRM architecture to fully automated, AI-powered go-to-market infrastructure. Our clients are enterprise B2B companies who do not just want to adopt a platform, they want a real growth system.

Our team is based in Böblingen and Lisbon, our clients across the DACH region and beyond.

Your Role

As Frontend Developer for HubSpot CMS in Lisbon, you are Thorit's go-to engineer for enterprise client websites built on HubSpot CMS Hub. You ship 8+ HubSpot CMS projects within the first 12 months at delivery quality the Director of Engineering will personally sign off on, and you own custom theme development, module architecture, HubL templating, serverless functions, and the design-to-launch handoff with our UI/UX team.

We are hiring this role because HubSpot CMS Hub is increasingly bundled into our enterprise wins, and CMS work bottlenecks today between general HubSpot consultants and freelance front-end developers. You become the full-time, deeply specialised CMS engineer who closes that gap.

Your Responsibilities

HubSpot CMS Delivery. Ship 8+ HubSpot CMS Hub website projects (custom themes, custom modules, design-to-launch) at sign-off quality within 12 months. Reusable Module Library. Build and document Thorit's reusable HubSpot CMS module library (10+ production-ready custom modules) within 9 months. Client CSAT. Deliver projects at average client CSAT >= 8.

5/10. Quality Bar. Establish Thorit's HubSpot CMS quality bar: code review checklist, performance budget (Lighthouse >= 90), accessibility floor (WCAG 2.1 AA). Billable Capacity. Stay billable >= 70% of available capacity from month 6. Internal Coaching. Coach the wider consulting team on HubSpot CMS basics: what is feasible, what is not, when to bring CMS in early. Pre-sales Authority. Contribute to scoping conversations as the technical authority on CMS work alongside Sales, Advisory, and UI/UX.

What We Offer

Competitive compensation with a transparent salary band and a structured bonus model tied to delivery outcomes and client satisfaction. Private health insurance plus Portuguese social security contributions. Meal allowance per working day, paid via local meal card. Urban Sports Club access across 8,000+ locations in Europe.

Blinkist Business (4,500+ book summaries) and Babbel (3 months) for continuous learning. Remote Work Program, up to 4 weeks per year from anywhere in the EU, with €500 setup allowance. Local Lisbon office access for hybrid working, plus tight coordination with the DACH team. Modern stack: HubSpot, Jira, Confluence, Claude AI, and the freedom to shape how you work.

Direct leadership access, flat hierarchies, and visible impact on the company. How to Apply Send your application through our careers page. No cover letter needed. What we want to see: your CV plus a concrete example of a HubSpot CMS Hub website you shipped end-to-end.

Your Profile

Personally built and launched 5+ custom HubSpot CMS Hub websites. Fluent in HubL, custom modules, themes, content staging, multi-language, memberships. HubSpot CMS for Developers certification or equivalent shipped portfolio. Modern frontend engineering: HTML5, CSS (Grid, Flexbox, container queries), JavaScript and TypeScript.

Comfortable with build tooling (Vite, esbuild) and modern CSS workflows. Performance and accessibility from the start: you ship sites that score >= 90 on Lighthouse without after-the-fact tuning, and you build to WCAG 2.1 AA by default. Design-to-code handoff: you have worked closely with UI/UX designers (Figma) and translate ambitious design into production code without losing visual intent.

Serverless and API integration: you have built HubSpot serverless functions for form processing, third-party API integration, dynamic content. Comfortable consuming REST APIs, handling auth, errors, webhooks. Native-level Portuguese plus business-fluent English. English is the daily working language with the DACH team.

Lisbon-based with availability for 2 to 3 days per week at the Lisbon office. What Makes You Excel You write maintainable, version-controlled code. Git, code reviews, branch workflows, and Confluence-documented decisions are routine. You can run a working session with a client product owner or marketing manager, demo progress, and explain technical trade-offs in non-technical language.

You treat the launched site as your responsibility, not the PM's. You test cross-browser and fix the broken thing without being asked. You push back constructively on design choices that tank performance or accessibility, and propose alternatives that keep the visual intent. You stay senior and deep on HubSpot CMS, not looking to transition out of build into design or product.
