Extended Day Teacher (After-School Teacher)

Hamadeh Educational Services | Temporary, Part-Time Pay: $40/hour Schedule: TBD | Anticipated: November–May Hamadeh Educational Services is seeking Extended Day Teachers to provide academic and social-emotional support to students in after-school programming.

Key Responsibilities

Provide academic and social-emotional support. Lead small-group and individual interventions. Monitor and document student progress. Collaborate with teachers and school staff. Communicate student progress with families. Participate in professional development. Support family engagement and outreach. Maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.

Locations Star International Academy – Dearborn Heights Star International Academy – Canton Universal Learning Academy – Westland Universal Academy – Detroit Qualifications Required: 60+ college credit hours from an accredited university OR passing score on the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment Experience working with children in a school, after-school, or summer school setting Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Education Valid Michigan teaching certificate and appropriate endorsement(s) Valid Michigan teaching or administrative certification 1.
