Technician - Pharmacy (Varied)

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy operations team. Working under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist in preparing, packaging, labeling, and dispensing prescription medications, while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, pharmacy regulations, and quality assurance protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Medication Preparation & Dispensing: Assist the pharmacist in accurately calculating, preparing, packaging, and labeling prescription medications. Inventory & Stock Management: Maintain accurate pharmacy inventory, inspect stock for expiration dates, and restock dispensing areas and automated medication systems. Customer & Clinical Support: Receive and verify prescription details, assist with billing and prescription processing, and communicate efficiently with healthcare staff and patients.

Compliance & Safety: Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized work areas while adhering to all state, federal, and institutional safety regulations.

Qualifications

& Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2+ years of clinical or retail Pharmacy Technician experience [Required] . Licensure: Active, unrestricted State Pharmacy Technician License [Required] . Core Competencies: High mathematical precision, excellent detail orientation, strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, and effective communication skills.
