Job Description Verdantas is seeking a Construction Technician III in our Concord, CA location. The Construction Technician I plays a critical role in implementing and maintaining Best Management Practices (BMPs) for erosion control, stormwater management, and environmental compliance across diverse construction and recovery projects.

This position requires hands-on fieldwork, equipment handling, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

Conduct advanced field and laboratory tests on construction materials, structures, and systems Perform inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards Collect, analyze, and interpret data from tests and inspections Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation of findings Operate and maintain advanced field and laboratory equipment Assist in the development and implementation of project plans and protocols Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs Communicate findings and recommendations to the Project Manager or Supervisor Follow all safety guidelines and procedure What You'll Bring: Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor in outdoor environments 5-7 years direct work experience Experience with barbed wire fencing, hydroseeding, and irrigation preferred Valid driver’s license with clean record and reliable transportation from home to yard Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to travel and work flexible hours Prior experience in construction, environmental services, or stormwater compliance is a plus Familiarity of walk behind trencher and various hand tools Salary Range: $92,875-$125,625 Benefits: Flexible Work Environment Paid Parental Leave Medical Dental Vision Life and AD&D Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off + Holidays Verdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
